Welcome to Derry Diamond Girls Softball

The DDAA Softball program offers for 8U, 10U, 12U, Juniors, and Seniors for the Spring and Fall seasons.

Our seasons run:

Spring - practices starting mid-April with games in May and mid-June. We play in Derry and surrounding towns during the week and weekends.
Summer - we offer FREE softball workouts throughout the summer with weekly practices covering all aspects of softball including pitching/catching and scrimmages. (schedule varies and subject to change based on demand and volunteers)
Fall - practices and games start in September and through October, playing in Derry and surrounding towns on weekends. Practices are typically held during the week.
Winter - starting in the winter months we offer workouts to keep our players skill fresh leading up to the spring season.

2026 Spring Softball

Derry Diamond Athletic Association’s Babe Ruth program is a recreational league focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment. Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Junior division and older- Registrations will stay open longer for space after school tryouts

Please note that softball/baseball pants are not included in the registration fee. If your player needs pants, they will be available for purchase at a discounted rate, based on availability, upon request.

In addition, each family is required to volunteer one (1) hour in our concession stand during the season, OR helping in other areas with the league. A volunteer schedule will be released at the beginning of the season.

If you are unable to fulfill your assigned time slot, you are responsible for either finding a replacement or paying a fee to be released from this commitment.

Our concession stand serves as an important fundraiser that helps support our league and allows us to give back to the players and families in the DDAA community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

The program is open to players ages 6–High School, with age divisions determined by guidelines set forth by Babe Ruth and our experienced Evaluators.

Oldest eligible players: birthday on or after 9/1/2006

Youngest eligible players: birthday on or before 8/31/2018

Our goal is to help players learn the game, build confidence, while being part of a supportive community.
