DDAA Baseball

The Derry Diamond Athletic Association (DDAA) offers a Little League Program for boys and girls aged 6 to 13. Our Majors and Intermediate baseball programs are our most competitive levels. To be considered for these divisions, all interested boys and girls must undergo an evaluation

Minor League program is comprised of our Farm (coach pitch) and AAA (player pitch) These divisions are instructional, with a strong emphasis on honing fundamental skills such as throwing, fielding, and hitting and learning understanding situational plays on the field.

Babe Ruth baseball or Junior/ Senior LL baseball divisions- For older players, aged 13 to 16, These divisions are versatile, accommodating athletes of varying skill levels—from those who play casually to those who represent their high schools on the diamond. coaching at this level remains firmly rooted in teaching the core fundamentals and situational baseball.

Our seasons run:

Spring - practices and games starting in Mid April/May and ending in mid June. Practices are held on the weekdays. Games on the weekends (some games could be held during the week for our AAA/Major and Intermediate divisions)
Summer - we offer FREE workouts throughout the summer with weekly practices covering all aspects of baseball and scrimmages. (schedule varies and subject to change. Based on demand and volunteers)
Fall - practices and games start in September and through October, playing in Derry and surrounding towns on weekends. Practices are typically held during the week.
Winter - starting in our winter months to keep our players skills fresh and ready for the spring season.

2026 Spring Baseball

Derry Diamond Athletic Association’s Little League Baseball program is a recreational league focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun, positive, and encouraging environment. Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Intermediate division and older- Registrations will stay open longer for space after school tryouts

Please note that softball/baseball pants are not included in the registration fee. If your player needs pants, they will be available for purchase at a discounted rate, based on availability, upon request.

In addition, each family is required to volunteer one (1) hour in our concession stand during the season, OR volunteering at the scoreboard/ helping the field crew. A volunteer schedule will be released at the beginning of the season.

If you are unable to fulfill your assigned time slot, you are responsible for either finding a replacement or paying a fee of $50.00 to be released from this commitment.

Our concession stand serves as an important fundraiser that helps support our league and allows us to give back to the players and families in the DDAA community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

The program is open to players ages 6–16, with age divisions determined by guidelines set forth by Little League.

Oldest eligible players: birthday on or after 9/1/2009

Youngest eligible players: birthday on or before 8/31/2019
