Division Info

Age determination cutoff date.
Age determination is different for both baseball and softball. Baseball is based on a players age before April 30th of the current year. Softball ages are determined based on a players age before December 31st of the current year. Click on one of links below to determine your childs playing age for the 2012 season.

Derry Little League does not offer a T-ball program, please contact Derry Parks and Recreation for any players under the age of 7 years old.

Baseball Division

Seniors Division must be league age 13-16

Majors Division must be league age 10-12
Triple A Division (AAA) must be league age 9-11
Double A Division (AA) must be league age 7-8

Softball Division

Minors AA Division must be league age 7-8**
Minors AAA Division must be league age 9-11
Majors Division must be league age 10-12
Senior Division must be league age 13-16

** - If there is an adequate number of 7-8 year old girls softball registrations to justify the AA Softball Division, the Derry Little League will incorporate this AA Softball Division. However, if there are not enough registrations/participants to create this AA Softball Division, the players are welcome to participate in the Derry Little League AA instructional baseball division.

Fall Ball Baseball and Softball Division

Baseball: All boys and girls ages 10 - 16 (league age as of April 30, 2012)

Softball: All girls ages 9 -16 (league age as of December 31, 2012)
